I've just heard about this forthcoming conference for students of English Language. It's on the 23rd March 2012 at the University of Winchester, and the organisers say:
The idea is to have a conference for students by students. The majority of speakers will therefore hopefully be students of the second or third year of their BA, or those who have recently graduated and/or are doing their MAs at the moment. Delegates can be anyone from sixth form to MA level. Students can propose a paper or a poster, individually or as a group. The idea is to have a platform for students to air good work, and also to meet other likeminded students, and even start building up their own academic network. The papers will be 15 minutes long, and deadline for the proposals is the 10th January. We will help those who come from afar to search for cheap accommodation, and there will be social activities for those who stay overnight.
This could be an excellent opportunity for you to get a wider audience for your group or individual research projects - for more details click here.
