Preparing for Milestone 3

Here is some further information about the group presentations.

1) Each group must prepare their presentation using the guidance on the RSEL wiki, and ensure that ‘credits’ to each group member for their contributions are clearly indicated.

2) All RSEL students are invited to another drop-in session, to help with preparing and uploading the presentations, on Friday November 25^th (Week 9) from 12.00 – 1.00 in Muirhead 121.

3) Each group must upload their recorded presentation to their blog, in whatever format has been used, no later than 11.00 on Wednesday December 7^th (Week 11). In addition (belt and braces!), they should send them by email to Alison (a.j.sealey@bham.ac.uk) and Bill (w.miller@bham.ac.uk). These electronic submissions are the evidence of the group projects on which each student will be assessed as pass/fail.

4) The ‘Grand Exhibition’ of the nine projects, for all English Language Department staff and RSEL students who are able to attend, will be on the afternoon of Wednesday December 7^th from 2.00 – 4.00 in Muirhead 122 and 118. We hope to showcase all the presentations, letting staff and fellow students see what you’ve been up to, by running each one at least once during the afternoon.
